Lakeside has undergone a stunning transformation, breathing new life into this much-loved holiday home, and it keeps guests coming back year after year. Wake up to sea views. Watch the sunrise from the upstairs balcony. This is a property that offers a rare balance; close enough to everything, yet it feels wonderfully set apart.

Just a couple of minutes' walk and you're on the sand dunes, then the beach. A short stroll the other way and you're in the heart of Rhosneigr village, with some of the island's best eateries, including the Oystercatcher, right on your doorstep.

Inside, the fresh feel runs throughout. The living room sets the tone straight away, with big sofas, comfy armchairs and a fire to cosy up around during the colder months, of which the UK has plenty. The kitchen and dining area has a central island breakfast bar and everything you need for family feasts. The dining table seats eight and opens onto a sunny rear patio, perfect for outside meals when the weather's on your side. A handy ground-floor shower room, is accessible from the kitchen and garage, and is ideal for rinsing off sandy toes after the beach.

Upstairs is where Lakeside comes into its own. The en-suite master bedroom has floor-to-ceiling doors opening onto a Juliette balcony with panoramic views. The double bedroom shares that same view and balcony access. A cosy twin room and the quirky crog loft, is a fun little sleeping nook made for kids, complete the bedrooms, along with a shared family bathroom and separate toilet.

There is an upstairs sitting room that leads out to a decked terrace, the best seat in the house for a morning coffee or an evening drink, with the views stretching out in front of you.

Outside, the front garden gives children and pets a safe space to play, while the rear patio is made for evenings around the chiminea. An outdoor tap makes light work of cleaning up after the beach. With space to relax both front and back, Lakeside is fab for families and furry friends alike. There is parking for two cars on Lakeside’s driveway.
