About Us

What’s to know about us? We’re a friendly, local team based on the Isle of Anglesey. We’ve got a range of experiences and backgrounds but most importantly we love the Island. We are keen to work with you to make your holiday as perfect as possible, so please call or email us with any questions. Get to know more about us below

AHL Director

Jamie

Responsibilities: To ensure the team have everything they need to deliver a great holiday to our guests and property owners, growing the property portfolio and making the team smile.

Recommended place to visit: Port Eilian

Why I love Anglesey: I used to visit the Island years ago between deployments with the Royal Marines and discovered its outstanding beauty, it became the ultimate place to relax and enjoy family time.

Outside of work: Raising money for charity, running in the mountains and walking our energetic working cocker spaniel ‘Leo’.

Financial Director

Debbie

Responsibilities: Manage and control the business finance and analyse budgets and spending. Fulfil all aspects of bookkeeping, accounting and financial returns. Administer payroll for all of our employees and general HR management.

Recommended place to visit: Church in the Sea, Aberffraw

Why I love Anglesey: It’s so diverse. From the most spectacular sunsets and beaches, bustling bars and restaurants, quiet cosy hideaways, to amazing walks, cycling and running routes. 

Outside of work: I enjoy cooking, days out with my family, keeping fit, walking the woof, and a good natter with friends.

Guest Services Manager

Barbara

Responsibilities: Barbara or Barbs is a delightful voice on the end of the phone, answering your questions, administering the bookings and looking after the day to day management of the office.

Recommended place to visit: Wavecrest Cafe in Chuch Bay

Why I love Anglesey: It’s home!

Out of work: Walking my doggies, running up Snowdon and lambing.

Jan

Responsibilities: Jan is one of the delightful ladies on the end of the phone, answering your questions, administering the bookings. She also treats the office with delicious home-baked goodies.

Recommended place to visit: Lligwy Beach Cafe

Why I love Anglesey: Living on Anglesey means that you have the best of all worlds! Within an hour you can be down in the hills, sitting on a secluded beach or enjoying beautiful forest walks. We are so lucky.

Outside of work: Cooking and baking, enjoying my garden and outdoors and doting on my grandchildren.

Tracey

Responsibilities: Tracey is another one of the ladies at the end of the phone, answering your queries and questions, and administering the bookings. 

Recommended place to visit: Aberffraw Beach 

Why I love Anglesey: I love the unspoilt stunning beaches, amazing views of the mountains, the unpredictable weather and the exotic feel of being on an Island. 

Outside of work: Spending time with my family, walking my dogs and drinking wine!

Emma

Responsibilities: Emma is another one of the ladies at the end of the phone, answering your queries and questions, and administering the bookings. 

Recommended place to visit (on Anglesey): Breakwater Country Park, Holyhead. A fab walk up Holyhead Mountain and around the coastal path as well as a great park for the children and a lovely little cafe for a coffee and cake.  

Why you love Anglesey: I’ve grown up here and its home. We take the walks, the beaches and the hospitality for granted – they are all amazing and we are so lucky to have them all on our doorstep.  
Outside of work: Working alongside my husband on our dairy farm as well as raising my three gorgeous children. Spending time with my family and baking every once in a while!

Business Development Assistant

Alannah

Responsibilities: Assisting and helping Jamie with onboarding of new properties along with general compliance tasks ensuring all our properties meet and exceed the necessary standards.  

Recommended place to visit: Newborough! You can wander through the forest and stroll along the beach with mountain views. It’s especially amazing on a clear day and at sunset. 

Why I love Anglesey: It’s a great place to unwind and soak in some beautiful scenery. 

Outside of work: Exploring new places with my gorgeous spaniel, Bayleigh.

Technical Director

Emma

Responsibilities: Emma manages all technical projects and platforms. From website management and SEO to integrating new tech stacks and training. She also keeps up to date with new emerging technologies that will help our business. 

Recommended place to visit: Bwrdd Arthur Hill Fort, the views on a clear day are fantastic. 

Why I love Anglesey: It’s just a fantastic Island, I love the sunsets, the landscape, and the wildlife; from dolphins in the Menai strait to seal pups and puffins.  

Outside of work: Spending time with my young family, growing veg and running.

Communications Manager

Lou

Responsibilities: Lou creates compelling content for social, writes engaging copy and leads our efforts in industry award submissions. 

Recommended place to visit: The Warren in Newborough for walks with your dog. Quiet and peaceful. 

Why I love Anglesey: Its a breath of fresh air. A slower pace. A happy place. 

Outside of work: Good coffee, family time, G&T’s on a Thursday and dog cuddles. 

Described in one word: Kind 

Housekeeping Manager

Lorraine

Responsibilities: Lorraine has the unenviable task of organising staffing to ensure each property is housekept for guest changeovers. She also liaises with our property owners, our office staff and all housekeepers in relation to any housekeeping matters. 

Recommended place to visit: Llanddwyn Island. Great for romantic walks with picturesque walks. 

Why I love Anglesey: It’s my home. What’s not to love. Everything about it is amazing. 

Outside of work: I enjoy spending time with my children and granddaughter, as well as socialising with great friends and work colleagues. 

Described in one word: Methodical 

Housekeeping Supervisor

Berni

Responsibilities: Berni ensures that our holiday homes are housekept to a high standard with regular quality assurance checks. She also helps over see new members of housekeeping staff to start them off in the right direction. 

Recommended place to visit: Beaumaris. The castle is stunning. 

Why I love Anglesey: It’s home and the sunsets are just amazing. 

Outside of work: I enjoy socialising and plenty of family time. I love watching the sunset from my front garden. 

Described in one word: Vibrant 

Laundry Manager

Lauren

Responsibilities: Lauren runs the laundry unit, she provides linens and co-ordinates with the housekeeping team. 

Recommended place to visit: The coastal path from Church Bay to Porth Wen brickworks. 

Why I love Anglesey: It’s a beautiful place to raise my daughter. 

Outside of work: Spending time with my family and getting out in the Snowdonia mountains. 

Described in one word: Caring 

Maintenance Administrator

Ann

Responsibilities: Ann co-ordinates and assists in managing the AHL maintenance department 

Recommended place to visit (on Anglesey): West Shore at Llandudno 

Why you love Anglesey:  Live and Work within spectacular Views and Coastlines 

Outside of work:  Walking dog, Gardening, Film buff and Shopping

Maintenance

Dan

Responsibilities: Dan maintains all our properties from changing light bulbs to bigger projects. He also liaises with guests and owners to ensure everything is running smoothly. 

Recommended place to visit: Parys Mountain and surrounding areas. The history is fantastic and it’s a window into Anglesey’s industrial past. 

Why I love Anglesey: Farming, fishing and clear skies. I also have to thank its great communities and local culture. It was a great place to grow up.  

Outside of work: When at home, I’m usually in the workshop working on electronics and metalworking projects. Otherwise, I’m cycling on Zwift or around our local lanes.

Caretaker

Kev

Responsibilities: Kev helps to look after the holiday homes to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. 

Recommended place to visit: Parys Mountain 

Why I love Anglesey: Living in a peaceful beautiful place with beautiful countryside and beaches. 

Outside of work: Walking and spending time with my family.
