Absolutely perfect for rest and relaxation. Everything is 5 stars, did not want leave and would love to return. Book a stay here and you will not be disappointed, we always come to Anglesey and have stayed in many cottages Y Cei is exceptional.

Beautiful house in a perfect waterside spot . Very well equipped . Lovely and clean . We will be returning .

Our only negative would be that the twin room with mezzanine level in our opinion is only suitable for children as the single bed is built in the walls. Fortunately we were a party of 6 so didn't need to use that bed.

The property is immaculate, the views are stunning and the location is fantastic. If we weren't out and about I spent most of my time indoors sitting on a window ledge just watching the estuary and the dunes beyond. If you get a clear night the skies are amazing. It is such a peaceful, relaxing pla...

The views from the living area are stunning and we felt blessed to enjoy numerous beautiful sunrises during our stay. T...

We stayed here in August 2024 for a week and we can not fault anything. The house was immaculate and had everything to hand that you needed and the location was amazing. We had two families a total of 8 staying in the house together and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. ...

The Location

Aberffraw means “Estuary of the River Ffraw,” with ‘Aber’ meaning estuary. The beach, locally called ‘Traeth Mawr’ (“Big Beach”), is a stunning sandy bay surrounded by dunes. This peaceful village on Anglesey’s west coast is perfect for families, dog walkers, and beach lovers. A small shop and Llys Llewelyn tea rooms, known for homemade cakes, serve the community. Nearby, the Church in the Sea (St Cwyfan’s) sits on a tidal islet, magical at low tide. Scenic coastal paths offer views of Bardsey Island, the Llyn Peninsula, and Snowdonia, while Rhosneigr provides more dining and shopping options.
