The Nest at The White Eagle is a spacious four-bedroom apartment situated above the iconic White Eagle pub in Rhoscolyn on the Isle of Anglesey. This pet-friendly accommodation provides stunning sea views and a comfortable base for exploring the island. Situated just a 10-minute walk (4-minute drive) to the beach and very close to the coastal path and The White Arch (Bwa Gwyn), this location gets more desirable every season. What’s more, you don’t have to walk far if you fancy lunch or dinner out. Highly-rated The White Eagle pub is just downstairs and serves high-quality pub food and real ales.

Enter into a large open-plan kitchen-diner with a nook for storing coats and shoes. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing family meals, beach picnics, or evening dinners. The kitchen island is perfect for casual gatherings with friends. The dining area, set in a sunny alcove, comfortably seats eight guests, making it a great space for entertaining. The living room features two large sofas, and two armchairs centred around a wood burner, ideal for cosy autumn or winter evenings. Two Juliette Balcony doors let in plenty of natural light and fresh air during the summer, offering spectacular coastal views. A small utility cupboard and a cloakroom with a toilet and sink are located off the living room. The living room also leads out to a sheltered roof terrace, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a sunset aperitif.

The apartment has four bedrooms suitable for families or groups of friends. Off the kitchen/diner are a super-king-size bedroom and a bunk bedroom, along with a large family bathroom featuring a stand-alone bath, walk-in shower, toilet, sink, and heated towel rail. Further along the corridor off the living room are two more bedrooms: a twin bedroom (which can be converted into a super-king if requested) and another super-king-size bedroom with the same incredible views as the living room. A second family bathroom includes a bath with a shower over it, sink, toilet, and heated towel rail.

The apartment features a pretty sheltered roof terrace, perfect for relaxing in the sun and enjoying the stunning coastal views.

The apartment is large & comfortable. Very clean & well equipped. We had an issue operating the heating but a call to Anglesey Lettings very quickly resolved the issue & they offered to attend if it did not. Far better caretaker service than their competitors in Rhoscolyn. Only minor issues were a...

This is the second time I have stayed at the Nest, both have been for special occasions. The place is amazing, well maintained, comfortable, and definitely has a wow factor. The White eagle below also adds to the experience, where the staff are fantastic .

We arrived on time and the accommodation catered for our number easily in size. The fridge door for bottles was missing, as it had been broken by previous quests, we found out later during our stay! The pillows are tired and need replacing, there was a dirty bedroom bin containing wipes from previou...

Lovely spacious property in beautiful, quiet location. The property is nicely presented with lots of amenities. Parking is easy and having the pub so close is great. The food at the White Eagle never disappoints. The walk to the beach is lovely and close and there are several walks from the property...

Firstly the positives Fabulous first impressions, very spacious, bright and clean. Lovely furnishings and fittings and great view. Points that disappointed - Kitchen- Fridge is very small for the accommodation and amount of guests, made even smaller by the fact holder for milk etc was broken and lef...

Fabulous, luxurious apartment above a great pub - what more could you want. And dog friendly too Gorgeous views and plenty of room. Lovejoy furnishings but could just do with a little more storage in the bedrooms

Looked forward all year to this apartment and was not disappointed. It was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped. Had a fantastic stay.

The nest was a stylish and lovely accommodation with beautiful furnishings and within walking distance of a secluded beach…on arrival however upon opening the utensils drawer there was a really unpleasant smell . This was only resolved after thoroughly washing all the pans and the drawer… a dirty...

We stayed as a family late May early JUne. Weather was fantastic and the pub below was very busy day and evening. Thought that the apartment would be noisy over the busy pub. But, no there was little noise to disturb us. Pub staff were very pleasant and helpful. Parking was a little bit of a problem...

Frank, 07 June 2023

A lovely apartment with magnificent sea views. The noise from the Pub terrace was not a problem when windows closed and quiet after 11pm any way. Very well equipped and very comfy beds including the bunks. Our only critisism was the lack of fridge space when catering for eight especially as no local...

Lovely flat, beautifully decorated, very comfy beds and pillows. Had everything you need for weekend away. Only complaint is the outside space needs some TLC, furniture well worn broken chair.

Sarah, 21 April 2023

The Nest at the White Eagle is a fabulous place to stay on Anglesey with a family group. It was spotlessly clean and kitted out with good quality furnishings. The beds were superbly comfortable with really lovely high spec bedding. I normally take my own pillow with me when I travel, as I never fin...

Had a lovely stay in the apartment for my birthday. Great views out to sea. Apartment is very spacious with good facilities. Sofas and beds comfortable. Used the terrace briefly when sun did come out. Imagine it's very nice in summer as a little sun trap.Kitchen well laid out with nice bench for lun...

We've just had a fantastic week at The Nest with our two grown up children and their partners plus two dogs. From the start the apartment felt spacious and clean so we all fell in love with it. We dined in on five evenings and the large kitchen and dining area were great for that. The white eagl...

Great location but the apartment is looking a bit neglected. WiFi not working, toilet seats and taps still loose despite reporting them on our previous stay last September. Parking is an issue at busy times as although there is an allotted parking spot for the Nest it soon gets taken by dining gues...

Lovely property ideal location. Far too noisy from the pub below. The pub extractor fans on the terrace made sitting outside unbearable. The property needs some tlc

This review is intended to help and I believe is a fair appraisal. There is no doubt that this apartment is in an unenviable part of Anglesey. The views from the apartment are fantastic but please be advised there is a restaurant below . That said there was only one evening on a very busy bank hol...

We had a wonderful time in the nest, a beautiful apt overlooking the White eagle. Perfect location for us as it's close to beaches and coastal walks and our favourite pub! The Location

Rhoscolyn means "Column Moor," possibly referencing a historic standing stone. Nestled on Holy Island’s southern tip, this tranquil village boasts stunning views of the Irish Sea and the Lleyn Peninsula.

Famed for its rocky coastline and hidden coves, Rhoscolyn’s Borth Wen Beach offers golden sands, rock pooling, and calm waters for paddling. Water sports lovers can enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, and fishing, while walkers can explore the Anglesey Coastal Path, passing Bwa Du and Bwa Gwyn rock formations.

The White Eagle pub is a must-visit for seafood lovers, and nearby Trearddur Bay and Valley provide more amenities. Rhoscolyn is a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
