Stepping inside you enter a bright open-plan lounge and dining room with a lovely, vaulted ceiling. A large L-shaped sofa is positioned in front of the Inglenook multi-fuel stove, perfect for autumn-winter stays. All the windows and doors are double-glazed and there is central heating throughout for extra cosiness. To the rear of the lounge, there is a formal dining table that comfortably seats six guests. Leading off to the side of the lounge there is a separate seating area that follows through into the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare family meals, picnics, BBQs. Off the kitchen, you’ll find a small utility room that features a washing machine, tumble dryer and a guest cloakroom is also situated here. Towards the rear of the property are the three bedrooms, the master double bedroom has a French door leading out to the parking area. There is a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The family bathroom features a P-Shaped bath with electric shower overhead, sink and toilet.

From the property, there are three sets of French doors leading out to a pretty wood decked terrace with seating, where you can enjoy the mesmerising views across the fields to the coast. Imagine the sunsets you’ll experience from Bron Wendon’s terrace! The garden is enclosed but it is a low wall so smaller dogs should be fine to run free and stretch their legs. The garden is also the perfect place for kids to burn off some energy whilst a BBQ is cooking in the summer sun.

We had a great week at Bron Wendon, a very comfortable property in a great location with superb uninterupted views out to sea. Highly recommended.

Darren, 25 March 2025

This was our first stay in Anglesey and we picked a prime spot. The Lovely village of Cemaes , the most Northerly village in Wales! Plenty of things to do in the area. Bron Wendon held a prime spot above the bay with the coastal path at the bottom of the Garden. Lovely property with plenty of space...

Gary, 25 February 2025

This was our second visit to Anglesey and we were certainly not disappointed. Bron Wendon is just a perfect place and has everything you need - the views are just amazing! The house was spotless and so welcoming and AHL were just amazing when we asked to extend our stay at the last minute due to i...

What a beautiful house! Clean, comfortable and it had everything we needed for a lovely stay. We were very lucky with the weather so were able to go on many walks on the coastal path. The house felt like home as soon as we arrived. Stunning views from the kitchen and living room and a very comforta...

We loved our stay at Bron Wendon. It's a beautiful spacious property, with absolutely stunning views. It's in a great location, moments from the coastal path, the beach and Cemaes village. It was spotlessly clean, very well appointed, and had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing stay.

Sarah, 26 August 2024

Although I thought that this property was expensive for 1 weeks stay, it became quickly apparent that Bron Wendon was absolutely the perfect place for relaxation. The views and quietness of this property were just what we needed. Having said that only a five/ten minute walk and you're in the vill...

Holiday cottage was beautiful, nicely decorated. Bedrooms were very nice. Had amazing views over the bay. Lovely beach . Five adults spent a week and there was plenty of room. The kitchen had a high bar style table and stools, a great place to sit with a drink and watch the sea and passing ships in ...

Alison, 18 July 2024

The property is very clean and comfortable and warm to stay in. We have stayed here before and would stay here again, however it is let down by a few housekeeping and maintenance points. First off the windows in the kitchen and the glass balustrade outside were very dirty limiting/spoiling the love...

John, 24 April 2024

We holiday on Anglesey several times a year and this was our first stay in Bron Wendon. On arrival, the views from the garden took our breath away. Many hours were spent gazing out the window! The cottage was beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. And very quiet and peaceful too. The beach a sho...

Such a beautiful property and the views are to die for. We loved looking out to see and using the handily provided binoculars. Easy walking distance to shop, pub and highly recommend the Bay View restaurant about 20 minutes walk away. The house is very cosy and comfortable and had everything we nee...

Stunning location, breathtaking views, most relaxing stay, beautifully well thought out home with everything you need, only regret hadn't booked for longer. Some issues with the patio door we called housekeeping, and the problem was rectified very prompting friendly, helpful service. We will definit...

Delia, 17 October 2023

The cottage is beautiful and spacious and well decorated. By far the best thing about it is the amazing location and beautiful view. We scored slightly lower on a couple of points as the extra toilet wasn't working which we weren't informed about. The cottage also had lots of cobwebs on the high c...

Louise, 15 October 2023

Stunning location and accommodation, a very relaxing place to stay after days out doggie walking on the costal paths

Kirsty, 03 October 2023

The location and views are great - spent lots of time starting out to sea. Lovely outdoor space. House has lots of character and is beautifully furnished. There were a handful of things I would change - bigger bed options. Two rooms only have double beds (the other is a twin). Possibly fine for some...

Katie, 09 June 2023

If you want a perfect location for walking, relaxing or simply enjoying the view, this is the place for you! The property is superior and the village of Cemaes Bay is absolutely charming - not spoilt and the locals are so friendly and welcoming. The beaches are beautiful and perfect for dog runs. We...

Guest, 16 November 2022

Had a lovely week - great location with Fantastic views Venue was great Would recommend to others Really well equipped setting Thank you

Guest, 03 November 2022

Everything fine (and clean upon check in) As in earlier reviews, shame there was no outside furniture cushions! without them the 'al fresco' with the fantastic views are spoilt. Without cushions the furniture is unusable (too low for the table and uncomfortable) Perhaps the owner could provide them...

Paul, 11 October 2022

The location and view are stunning. While we did enjoy our stay we felt the house needed a few repair jobs and attention to detail to warrant the hefty rental price. Door knobs falling off the cupboards, cupboards very dirty. I found the double beds very uncomfortable and hard but this might be pers...

Naomi, 15 September 2022

A comfortable base with amazing views. The property itself had all the space needed, in a reasonably clean environment - there were lots of cobwebs - some low level so could've been removed. The plumbing system was very hit and miss, with the toilets backing up on more than one occasion. The h...

Samantha, 18 August 2022

Firstly I would like to say this is a beautiful house in a stunning location so it's a shame I was let down on a few things. The house keeping was terrible, dog poo left on patio, fire pit still had burnt wood innit and bag of kindle just left on table open in the rain. Sticky child hand prints on w...

Cliff, 11 August 2022

David, 21 July 2022

One of the nicest properties we've stayed in. Very comfortable and clean, stunning views. Enjoyed log fire on an evening. Would love to return.

Susan, 13 April 2022

We both enjoyed our stay very much, ,our only wish was we would have love to stay longer. I unfortunately suffer with Parkinson's Disease, and at times I felt a little unsafe ,for instance ,in the bathroom no hand rails, and no bathrmat ,only little minor details ,but ,believe me ,makes all the diffe...

The Location

Cemaes means "bend" or "bay," reflecting its stunning coastal setting. This lovely northern Anglesey village, partly owned by the National Trust, offers a peaceful seaside escape.

Famous for its lobster catch, Cemaes has a small high street with shops, cafés, dog-friendly inns, and an award-winning fish and chip shop. Its historic harbour, once a smuggler’s haven, now hosts fishing boats and scenic trips.

The bay features two sandy beaches, Traeth Mawr and Traeth Bach, ideal for families, kayaking, and windsurfing. Nearby, hidden coves, dramatic cliffs, and Llanbadrig Church provide breathtaking views, making Cemaes a perfect blend of history and natural beauty.
