Hidden just behind the dunes and only 150 metres from the sand, Ty'r Môr is a coastal gem designed for families, friends, and anyone who wants to wake up to the sound of the sea. With views stretching across to Rhoscolyn, this is a home where the sky puts on a show every day, from soft morning light to fiery west-coast sunsets.
Inside, the house is full of character: stylish, a little bit funky, and perfect for city dwellers looking for a chic coastal escape. It’s cosy yet surprisingly spacious, with thoughtful touches everywhere and plenty of storage so families can settle in without feeling cluttered. There are also loads of spots to tuck a dog bed and with dog-friendly flooring and a large paved area outside, it’s ideal for sandy paws and beach-day exploring.
Step into a generous cloakroom, perfect for wetsuits, wellies, and all the gear that comes with beach life. There’s a separate toilet and a small utility space with a washer. The newly renovated galley kitchen is beautifully finished in coastal tones, with great appliances and underfloor heating. It opens into a bright dining area with built-in wall seating, safe and practical for children, and a large wooden table for family meals. The lounge flows naturally from here, centred around a log burner big enough to warm the whole house. A window seat sits in the large front window, giving you the perfect spot to curl up with a coffee and watch the waves or the foil riders skimming across the water. The back door leads to a small area with direct access over the dunes to the beach.
Head up the cosy carpeted staircase (worth noting it may not suit guests who struggle with stairs), and you’ll find three bedrooms. At the back sits a quiet twin room, dark and peaceful, ideal for children who need a solid night’s sleep. The middle bedroom is a comfortable double and at the front, the master steals the show with its king bed, private en-suite, and a beautiful window seat overlooking the sea. Waking up here feels like stepping into a postcard; the views are nothing short of unforgettable.
There’s space to park one car directly outside the property. We just ask guests to be mindful when doing so, leaving enough room for neighbours and for cars to pass comfortably along the lane. Additional on-road parking is available a short walk away, so larger groups or extra vehicles will have no trouble finding a spot.
