Lovely place, great view and location. The host was really helpful. Needs a good clean - the furniture and the floors really smelt of dog, I have dogs, and generally don't mind the smell, but it was too strong for me, here.

Beautiful cottage with the most peaceful surroundings and stunning views. It's a very spacious cottage that's well laid out. Cemaes is a delightful fishing village with lots to do and an ideal location to explore Anglesey from. Loved my stay

Bron Wendon was an absolutely fantastic place to stay. The place was exactly as described, very clean and very well equipped. What the advert doesn't do justice to is the AMAZING view from both inside and outside the property WOW!!! Would very highly recommend for the view alone - thank you.

The Location

Cemaes Bay (said: KEM-ice) is the most northerly village in Wales — unspoiled, relaxed, and refreshingly uncommercialised, on the northern coast of Anglesey. It's the perfect base for coastal walks, family beach days, and getting away from the hustle of the bigger resorts.

Partly owned by the National Trust, the village has a small high street with shops, cafés, dog-friendly inns, and an award-winning fish and chip shop — Cemaes is well known for its lobster catch. The historic harbour, once a haunt for smugglers, now hosts fishing boats and scenic trips out along the coast.

Two sandy beaches, Traeth Mawr and Traeth Bach, are ideal for families, kayaking and windsurfing, while hidden coves, dramatic cliffs and Llanbadrig Church nearby make for some genuinely breathtaking walks.

The village has local bus services and plenty of nearby free parking. Once here, everything in Cemaes is walkable, but a car is useful for visiting more remote beaches.
