A lovely two-bedroom holiday farm cottage nestled in quaint roaming farmlands, a perfect place to escape and unwind surrounded by nature.
Known as The Granary in English, and Ysgubor in Welsh, this two bedroom holiday cottage in Glan Gors, Llanfaelog is nestled amongst pastoral farmlands. Here there are no traffic sounds, just birdsong and unspoilt countryside.
And yet within just a five-minute drive, you can be sunbathing on one of three of Anglesey’s famous beaches. The Granary is the perfect base to explore the Isle of Anglesey and then head back home for a mind detox and total relaxation.
The pet-friendly cottage has the same decor as Y Stabl, our second cottage, enjoying the same quality of furnishings and amenities.
Decordated in modern style with solid wood furniture and wood flooring throughout. The space downstairs flows seamlessly through the spacious living room into the kitchen diner, where the warm morning sun bursts through the windows.
The living room is furnished with a large L-shaped leather sofa where you can all crash out after a day exploring Anglesey, an armchair and a Smart TV.
The dining table comfortably seats up to six guests and you have the option to spill out into the enclosed patio area to enjoy al fresco summer dining.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a picnic to take to the beach.
Sleeping arrangements
The light and airy accommodation upstairs features skylights in every room which allow the natural light to flood in and afford stunning views of the countryside.
All the bedrooms are spacious and well presented with ample room for a travel cot if you are staying with toddlers.
There are two bedrooms, one double and one triple room with three single beds.
Finally, upstairs there is an immaculate shower room with a walk-in shower, washbasin, toilet and heated towel rail.

If you're looking to organise a family holiday or a break with friends, The Granary and Y Stabl are perfect. These two lovely cottages are situated next to each other, so you can come together for meals and movie nights, and when you are packing up your cars to head to the beach. And the separate cottage space gives you a place to relax and unwind when you need some downtime.

The Location
The Granary is nestled amongst pastoral farmlands, close to the village of Llanfaelog and surrounded by peaceful, unspoilt countryside. Here there are no traffic sounds, just birdsong and unspoilt countryside.
The tiny village of Llanfaelog is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, North Wales. There is one general store - The Wayside - in the local area.
Just a few minutes stroll will take you to Llyn Maelog, a large lake rich in fish and birdlife. The area boasts magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and the Llyn Peninsula.
Five minutes drive will take you to the vibrant seaside village of Rhosneigr, winner of the Green Coast seaside award.
Rhosneigr village has two brilliant golden sand beaches, which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing. In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain, there is a surf shop (also offering lessons) and the village is also home to a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, and provides good local shopping facilities for food, drinks, gifts and souvenirs.
Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!
Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Llyn Peninsula.
Fancy a round of golf? Anglesey Golf Club is just a few minutes drive from The Granary.
Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 40 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).
Anglesey is a great destination for any holiday with so much to offer: beautiful landscapes, gorgeous coastal walks, water sports and family activities galore, as well as cultural and monumental attractions for those looking to learn more about the history of the region.
