The cottage was set in beautiful countryside off the beaten track, which was easily accessible with free parking. It was generally quiet apart from the planes from RAF Valley flying overhead. We really enjoyed plane spotting and watching their routes on the Flight Radar 24 app. Good fun.! It was ...

I marked down on instructions to find as there were more than 3 houses before the turn to the right. Everything else was brilliant and there was a quick response when the kettle stopped working and a replacement provided immediately.

The location was very convenient for visiting several parts of Anglesey and the property was easy to find (it's on Google maps which is a huge plus). The property was clean and was big enough for 5 of us, with plenty of space for parking in front of the property. The beds in particular were very com...

We booked the accommodation as working in the area so not a holiday review but the accommodation and communication was good and as advertised and we would stay again.

Our stay at the cottage was very enjoyable. It had everything we needed. It's in a lovely location very convenient for getting out and about. The back patio was a nice place to relax, and safe for our dog as it was gated. We enjoyed watching the aircraft which fly directly above the cottage. We spe...

The Location

Bryn Du (said: brin-DEE) is a peaceful village a mile from Rhosneigr, with a local shop and easy reach of Anglesey's best beaches and coast. It sits within the community of Llanfaelog on Anglesey's west coast. With houses dating back to the 1800s and a Methodist chapel built in 1795, it's got history behind it — but what draws most visitors is the peace and quiet, paired with easy access to the coast.

Llanfaelog's own attractions, including Coed Cwr y Pwll National Forest, are close by, while Aberffraw and its dune-backed beach, Traeth Mawr, are a short drive south. It's a quieter alternative to the busier resorts.

Set in the countryside, Bryn Du is best reached by car. Free parking is available at the property. Public transport is limited, making a vehicle essential for getting around.
