Ancones is a bright, modern three-storey home designed for sociable and relaxing seaside holidays. Newly renovated in 2024, the updated kitchen and fresh interiors make it the perfect Rhosneigr retreat for families and groups.

On entry, you’ll find two spacious en-suite bedrooms, one double and one twin, each featuring walk-in showers. These rooms are perfect for guests who prefer to be close to the ground level or enjoy a quiet retreat after a day of exploring. The ground floor also provides access to an enclosed patio garden, a delightful spot for summer BBQs or morning coffees, complete with a table, chairs, BBQ, and an outdoor chiminea. The first floor is the heart of the home, offering a sociable open-plan layout. The living room boasts two comfortable leather sofas, an armchair, and a Smart TV, while large windows flood the space with natural light. The kitchen is a joy to cook in, thanks to its thoughtful renovation in 2024, featuring modern appliances and plenty of counter space. Adjacent is the dining area, where the family can gather to share meals and plan the next day's adventures.

The top floor is the master bedroom, a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring a bath.

The property includes off-road parking for two cars and a ramp to the entrance for added accessibility.

Ancones’ location makes it a haven for water sports enthusiasts, with paddleboarding, sailing, kayaking, and swimming just a short walk away. Families will love the rock pools at Rhosneigr Bay or simply enjoying a paddle with an ice cream in hand. And don’t forget, staying at Ancones includes unlimited free golf for up to 4 guests at Anglesey Golf Club, just a short drive away!

The Location

Rhosneigr (said: ROSS-nigh-ger) is one of the most dog-friendly villages on Anglesey. It's a foodie haven, a watersports mecca, and somehow packs bars, restaurants, independent shops and golden beaches into one small stretch of coastline curving round the village. Whether you're a couple, a family three generations deep, or bringing a dog who's never seen so much sand, it works.

It's on the pricier side, but one visit shows why. Two stunning beaches wrap the village, Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan, the surf's some of the best on the Island, and the food punches well above its weight. Mornings belong to the water, with Funsport or Gecko Surf on the seafront covering surfing, kitesurfing and paddleboarding for all ages. Evenings bring cocktails, fresh food at the Blue Olive, or the Sandy Mount House or fish and chips from Scarletts on the high street, eaten on the beach or back at the house.

Rhosneigr is best explored by car, with free parking available at the property and throughout the village. The nearest train station, just 5 minutes away at Ty Croes, connects you to Holyhead and Bangor.
