Y Bwthyn (pronounced 'Uh Booth-in') is tucked away and traffic-free, this welcoming two-bedroom pet-friendly cottage provides a wonderful space to relax and unwind.

It’s the perfect choice for families looking for a peaceful getaway. You have the luxury of staying in the beautiful rural location of Glan Gors in Llanfaelog and yet just a five-minute drive away is Rhosneigr village and beaches.

As you enter into the hallway, there is a spacious open plan living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen to the right. The layout is perfect for cooking and socialising with family and friends. Meanwhile, French doors lead out to the enclosed patio where you can enjoy al fresco dining on summer nights.

The living room is furnished with a comfy sofa, reclining armchair and smart TV, so on wet or windy days you can cosy up inside and enjoy some downtime. The kitchen is fully equipped and we’ve left a handy welcome pack to kick start your holiday the right way with tea bags, biscuits and other goodies.

What you should know: Y Bwthyn is pet-friendly (we welcome one well-behaved pet) and ideal for families with one or two children.

Sleeping arrangements

Y Bwthyn has two bedrooms, ideal for families with one or two children.

The generous main bedroom is located towards the back of the property and is furnished with a cosy double bed, a wardrobe and drawers.

The second bedroom is located at the front of the property and is furnished with a single trundle bed, which can be made into a twin on request.

The family bathroom is a full wet room featuring a large walk-in shower, washbasin, WC, and heated towel rail.

• Y Bwthyn has a washing line located to the side of the property for quick al fresco drying. It’s accessible via a gate leading from the large enclosed patio.
• The accommodation is just a five-minute drive from three of Anglesey’s most popular beaches, making it the perfect location to explore, recharge and enjoy beautiful sunsets!
• This property provides one travel cot and one high-chair - We don't provide a travel cot mattress and cot linen.

The Location

Y Bwthyn is tucked away in a peaceful traffic-free location in rural Glan Gors, close to the tiny village of Llanfaelog on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, North Wales.

There is a local shop just a two-minute drive away, however, the village of Rhosneigr is a five-minute drive away with everything you need to hand.

Winner of the Green Coast seaside award, Rhosneigr village has two brilliant golden sand beaches which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing.

In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain, there is a surf shop (also offering lessons) and the village is home to a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, and provides good local shopping facilities for food, drinks, gifts and souvenirs.

Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!

Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and the Llyn Peninsula.

Fancy a round of golf? Anglesey Golf Club is just a few minutes drive from Y Bwthyn.

Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 40 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).

Anglesey is a great destination for any holiday with so much to offer: beautiful landscapes, gorgeous coastal walks, water sports and family activities galore, as well as cultural and monumental attractions for those looking to learn more about the history of the region.
