Description

The Little Nest has just hatched! Newly refurbished, this petite accommodation is perfect if you are looking for a simple base from where to head off each day and explore the Isle of Anglesey.

Situated just a 10 minute walk (4 minute drive) to the beach and very close to the coastal path and The White Arch (Bwa Gwyn), this location gets more desirable every season, so don’t miss out!

What’s more, you don’t have to walk far if you fancy lunch or dinner out. The highly rated White Eagle pub is just downstairs and serves high quality pub food and real ales. What more could you ask for?

The Accommodation

The apartment has a separate exterior entrance from the pub with stairs up to the first floor landing entrance.

Step inside The Little Nest:

To the left and down three stairs you find a compact but well equipped kitchen with an oven and hob, a fridge, washbasin, and a selection of pots, pans, and crockery.

A double bedroom faces the entrance and is comfortably furnished with a Super-king-size bed, hanging closet, set of drawers and a tub chair.

To the right, a bathroom equipped with a shower over bath, single washbasin and a toilet.

The Little Nest doesn’t have a living or dining space but there is a small table and two chairs, so that you can breakfast at home before heading out for the day, prepare a light meal or bring up dinner from The White Eagle downstairs.

The Little Nest is the next step up from a hotel room. Suitable for guests who will be out exploring during the day and appreciate a comfortable bed with extra facilities to return to in the evenings.

The Nitty Gritty

  • There is space for one car in the White Eagle which is signposted for The Little Nest guests
  • The accommodation is pet-friendly and welcomes one behaved dog
  • It’s the perfect accommodation for lovers of gastro pub grub with the renowned White Eagle pub just downstairs. You can even order a take out and bring it upstairs to dine in. (Information about this is included in the welcome magazine)
  • On arrival you will receive a complimentary welcome pack with a few essentials to get your holiday started the right way.

Who is The Little Nest for?

The Little Nest at The White Eagle is for couples who want a ‘no frills’ base in a central location to explore the Isle of Anglesey and the Anglesey Coastal Path.

All about Rhoscolyn

Rhoscolyn is situated at the south west tip of Holy Island looking across the Irish Sea to the Llyn Peninsula. Holy Island is a small island to the west of Anglesey, accessed over a road bridge.

The dramatic, rocky coastline is punctuated with pretty coves and inlets, and at the very southern tips is the beautiful golden sand crescent beach of Borth Wen (Borthwen). Backed by sand dunes, this is a great family-friendly beach with gently shelving sand down to the sea and lots of rock pools for maritime exploration with the little ones!

There are also scattered offshore islands surrounding Holy Island which make for beautiful and dramatic scenery.

If you are a water sports enthusiast, you’ll love Rhoscolyn as there are plenty of activities on the water to choose from, such as kayaking, canoeing, diving and snorkelling, sailing, fishing, surfing and rock pooling.

If you are a keen walker or hiker, Rhoscolyn is an excellent base for exploring the Anglesey Coastal Path and the many paths which criss-cross the island.

One of the most iconic attractions of Rhoscolyn are the two natural rock formation arches of Bwa Du (black arch) and Bwa Gwyn (white arch), which can be accessed from the coastal path at Trearddur Bay.

Rhoscolyn and Holy Island are also renowned for excellent seafood and shellfish and The White Eagle is one of the best places to dine on the island.
