The Sands, Room 5 Overview

Sometimes all you need is a night or two somewhere that isn't your own living room. The Sands, Room 5 fits the brief nicely, tucked into Y Glan Aparthotel, a new addition to Rhosneigr's village.

Being on the ground floor, it's easy to reach for everyone. The room offers one open, easy space and the king bed takes centre stage, with a mounted TV for watching from under the covers. The kitchenette has what you actually need for an independent stay, though with Rhosneigr's cafés, restaurants and shops only a short stroll away, you may not use it much. The en-suite shower room is compact, modern, and entirely your own.

Staying longer? There's a communal laundry room open to all guests, with full-size washing machines and tumble dryers, plus irons, ironing boards and drying racks, everything you need to travel light and still turn up fresh.

Outside, an enclosed lawn at the front is a nice spot to sit, let a dog stretch its legs, or just get some air without going far. Y Glan takes dog-friendliness seriously, four-legged guests get as warm a welcome as everyone else. Round the back, a sheltered seating area doubles as a sun trap, with its own storage hut for each apartment.

The beach is a short stroll. The coastal path is right there. The village, watersports, independent shops, an easy pace of life, sits on your doorstep. Whether it's a quiet weekend away with someone, catching up with a friend, or a solo reset by the sea, The Sands, Room 5 gives you exactly what you need, no more, no less and if you're travelling as a bigger group, Y Glan also has The Dunes (Room 12, sleeps 2) and The Wave, a loft space sleeping 4.

Parking's right there on site, so you can pull up, unload, and get straight to the good part.
