Tucked down a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Rhosneigr village and just a short walk to the beach and village shops and restaurants, Stone’s Throw has everything you need to enjoy the best holiday on Anglesey!

The main entrance leads into a bright hallway with lots of space to dump bags and flip flops after a day at the beach or muddy boots after a day’s adventure exploring the Anglesey coastal path.

To the left of the hallway, you walk through into an impressive open-plan kitchen-diner which in turn leads into a double reception room.

To the right of the hallway, there is a handy utility room with a washing machine. This is the perfect place to hang up your wet towels and bathing gear!

The beautifully furnished and well-equipped kitchen is contemporary with a vintage twist. We love the Swan American-style fridge freeze, gorgeous duck egg blue finish and the separate island on hand for preparing family meals, picnics or perhaps pre-dinner cocktails?

There is a dining table to seat up to eight guests.

Separating the kitchen diner from the reception area is an impressive central wood burner guaranteed to cosy up the living area on the coolest of autumn/winter evenings.

We can imagine a Christmas family gathering here with a glass of milk and cookies for Santa sitting by the fireplace and a turkey roasting in the oven while you head out for a Christmas day beach walk before lunch! Can you??

The spacious living room is open plan, with enough space and room for one area for the kids and one for adults, maybe?

The first space is furnished with a two-seater sofa and the second space features two large sofas, a cool stand-up lamp, coffee table and flat-screen TV. There are several skylights that let the natural daylight flood in.

Outside, Stone’s Throw features a lawned garden and a raised decked patio area with a dining table and bench chairs.

Sleeping arrangements

Stone’s Throw is a bungalow with all four bedrooms located on the ground floor. It’s an ideal layout for family groups staying with toddlers or guests who have difficulty with stairs.

The en suite master bedroom is set apart from the other three bedrooms, providing privacy for guests staying here. Furnished with a king-size bed and wardrobe, the master bedroom also has access to the patio and garden.

The contemporary en suite bathroom features a large walk-in shower, washbasin, towel and heated towel rail.

On the other side of the accommodation, leading from the living area, there are three further bedrooms.

A double bedroom furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, and side tables with night lights.

A bunk room with a full-size bunk bed, bedside table and night light, and a chest of drawers.

A single bedroom furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, bedside table and night light.

This side of the accommodation also features a shared family bathroom with a shower over bath, washbasin, toilet, and heated towel rail

All about Rhosneigr

Winner of the Green Coast seaside award, Rhosneigr is a lovely village situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey. It’s a fantastic location no matter the weather or season.

The village has two brilliant golden sand beaches, which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing. In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain.

Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!

Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Llyn Peninsula.

Rhosneigr village itself has a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, it even has a chip shop if you fancy fish and chips on a Friday.

And so that you don’t have to eat out every day during your holiday, the local general stores provide everything you need to cook and dine at home.

Rhosneigr also has a surf shop (also offering lessons) and other shops that you would expect to find on the coast.

Fancy a round of golf? Anglesey Golf Club is just five minutes drive from Rhosneigr village!

Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 40 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).

Anglesey is a great destination for any holiday with so much to offer: beautiful landscapes, gorgeous coastal walks, water sports and family activities galore, as well as cultural and monumental attractions for those looking to learn more about the history of the region.
