It’s arty, playful and full of energy and with fabulous views to Snowdonia and Maelog Lake, and just a three-minute drive to Rhosneigr village and beaches, Glanllyn Bach is a ‘love-at-first-sight’ kind of holiday home.

The pet-friendly property is situated next to the renowned House of Ugly Fish and sits on a plot of 3.75 acres surrounded by fields and with a ¾ acre paddock, where you can let the kids run loose and four-legged guests will be in seventh heaven.

The accommodation is set over two floors with five bedrooms sleeping 10 guests. Art adorns the walls of Glanllyn Bach and everywhere you look, you can admire the beautiful object d’art and curiosities installed by the creative owners.

Living & Entertaining

The contemporary living room has plenty of sofas and armchairs for the whole family to spread out and relax. A large Smart TV and log burner means you can cosy up on winter evenings. It would make an absolutely perfect Christmas retreat for family or friend groups.

And the living room isn’t the only space to relax in Glanllyn Bach. There is also a reading room that features a sectioned off ‘Boot Room’, the perfect place to leave your muddy wellies after a hike across the countryside, and a sunroom with a vaulted ceiling and doors leading onto the patio and BBQ area.

A guest cloakroom can also be found on the ground floor.

Sleeping arrangements

All bedrooms feature super-king-size beds that can be made into twin beds on request.

There is one en suite bedroom located on the ground floor, making it the perfect scenario for family or friend groups staying with children or teenagers, or guests who have difficulty with stairs..

Bedroom One: Master en suite with a super-king-size bed, sitting area with a Smart TV, and an en suite shower room with a large walk-in shower.

Bedroom Two: Enjoy gorgeous views to Maelog Lake in this super-king-size bedroom with Smart TV. The bed can be made up as a twin on request. There is an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower.

Bedroom Three: Super-king-size bed that can be made up as a twin on request, Smart TV, and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower.

Bedroom Four: Super-king-size bed and Smart TV. The bedroom and attached shower room are sectioned off by a door in the hallway, creating a 'suite' feel. Perfect for grandparents who want some peace and quiet!

Bedroom Five: Twin beds that can be made up as a super-king-size bed on request, Smart TV (TBC), and Inglenook Fireplace with a log burner. Wake up to beautiful views from the bay window across to Snowdonia. The bedroom features an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower.

The Location

Glanllyn Bach is the perfect accommodation for guests who want to be close to Anglesey’s beaches and the small but vibrant village of Rhosneigr but stay in a peaceful countryside location.

The accommodation is just under a mile to Rhosneigr village (18 minutes walk/3 minute drive) and 0.6 miles to the tiny village of Llanfaelog (12 minutes walk/2 minute drive), where you’ll find The Wayside general store.

Llyn Maelog (Maelog Lake) has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest with an abundance of flora and fauna and is a special place for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts.

About Rhosneigr

Winner of the Green Coast seaside award, Rhosneigr has two brilliant golden sand beaches, which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing.

In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain, there is a surf shop (also offering lessons) and the village is home to a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, and provides good local shopping facilities for food and drinks.

Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!

Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and the Llyn Peninsula.

Fancy a round of golf? Anglesey Golf Club is just a few minutes' drive from Glanllyn Bach.

Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 35 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).
