Tucked away in an idyllic spot just 10 minutes from the beach and ¾ mile from the village of Rhosneigr, we find Coed y Llan. A holiday home that goes beyond our guests expectations in so many ways.
Nestled within its own extensive grounds featuring mature and landscaped gardens and woodland, this is your chance to enjoy a little slice of heaven in the heart of Anglesey.
Close the gates to your own private estate and unleash your little two-legged and four-legged family members! Coed y Llan is pet-friendly and perfect for families with children, as the accommodation is super spacious and set over a single storey.
Children will love exploring the secret gardens and playing hide and seek in the bushes, while you relax in the knowledge that this is a completely closed and safe environment for them.
What you should know: No need to leave your pets behind, Coed y Llan is pet-friendly allowing up to four pets per stay.
Single-level bliss
Guests could be mistaken for thinking they are in Andalucia instead of Anglesey. The azure blue and white Mediterranean villa is embraced by a charming arched veranda that exudes the style of a Spanish Cortijo.
The home has been recently modernised and inside there are five bedrooms which comfortably sleep up to 10 guests and what’s more the single-story accommodation is ideal for multi-generational groups with small children, grandparents or those with difficulty climbing stairs.
The heart of Coed y Llan is the beautifully spacious open-plan living area with its ground floor sunken den, separate dining area and upper-level mezzanine snug. It features patio doors on either side which give it a lovely breezy and bright feel. One side leads out to the veranda and the other to a sunny conservatory with two comfy sofas.
The mezzanine snug affords heavenly views across the dunes to the sea. This is the perfect place to escape to with a good book or for a secret natter and glass of wine!
The rest of the accommodation is united by an impressive hallway that follows the arched design of the veranda and where you find a guest cloak toilet.
There is a separate one-wall fully equipped kitchen with plenty of space for you to prepare meals together as a family, a breakfast bar sits on the opposite wall.
Patio doors lead out from the kitchen to a little enclosed courtyard where you can enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast in the sun!
Sleeping arrangements
There are five spacious bedrooms sleeping up to 10 guests: one master en suite bedroom with a super king bed and two other super-kings with en-suites, a double and one twin bedroom.
There is a separate shower room and toilet, plus a guest toilet.
Garden paradise
Set within serene landscaped gardens and woodland which lends Coed y Llan the feel of a beautiful country estate. It’s gated and fully enclosed which makes it a safe and protective environment.
Within the grounds children can explore the secret garden and hide out in the woodland bushes, this is a truly magical place for young guests.
And for grownups, there are endless options for dining al fresco or enjoying an afternoon drink on the terraces or lawn. Who will be the first to discover the hidden enclosed courtyard? The ideal spot for barbecues, or soaking up some sunshine, protected from the breeze.
Who is Coed y Llan for?
The accommodation is ideal for friends and family groups who are looking for a private and exclusive retreat within easy walking distance to everything. In fact, stand on daddy’s shoulder and you’ll be able to see the dunes and sea over the wall that encloses the grounds!

- Coed Y Llan allows up to 4 well-behaved pets per stay.
- This property provides one travel cot and one highchair only - We dont provide a travel cot mattress and cot linen.

The management team live on the Island and will ensure that everything is as it should be ahead of your arrival. And we are always on call throughout your stay for anything you need.
- A welcome pack will be ready for you on arrival with milk, tea, coffee, sugar, multi-purpose spray, sponge, jay cloth, washing up liquid, hand soap and Welsh biscuits
- All properties have a Welcome Folder to help familiarise guests with the property, the local area and the island
- All of our properties comply to all Fire Safety Regulations
- All bed linens and towels are Hotel Quality satin white as standard and commercially laundered in between each stay

The Location
Coed Y Llan is tucked away in an idyllic spot close to the tiny village of Llanfaelog, situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, North Wales.
The Wayside general store is a convenient two-minute walk, whilst the Oyster Catcher bar and restaurant, dunes and beach are all a ten-minute gentle stroll away.
The vibrant seaside village of Rhosneigr lies approximately ¾ of a mile away.
Winner of the Green Coast seaside award, Rhosneigr village has two brilliant golden sand beaches, which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing.
In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain, there is a surf shop (also offering lessons) and the village is home to a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, and provides good local shopping facilities for food, drinks, gifts and souvenirs.
Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!
Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and the Llyn Peninsula.
Fancy a round of golf? Anglesey Golf Club is just a few minutes drive from Coed Y Llan.
Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 40 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).
Anglesey is a great destination for any holiday with so much to offer: beautiful landscapes, gorgeous coastal walks, water sports and family activities galore, as well as cultural and monumental attractions for those looking to learn more about the history of the region.
