Bryn Awel is all about location. You're right in the heart of Rhosneigr, one of Anglesey’s most sought-after villages, famous for its two sandy beaches, Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan and its reputation as a watersports mecca for kite-surfing, windsurfing and paddleboarding. Alongside this there's excellent local dining, boutique shops and it has a proper laid-back village vibe. You won't find many places that put you this close to all of it for this kind of money.
This is a basic, no-frills apartment. You'll need to climb a couple of stairs to reach the front door, so it's worth bearing in mind if that's not practical for anyone in your group. It's simple and comfortable, well suited to short stays, and several of our guests have booked to come back time and again because the location does so much of the work.
On the first floor, the kitchen has a dining table, good for a quick breakfast before heading out. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. The living room has large windows and sea views out toward the coast, with a modular sofa to relax on.
Sleeping arrangements comfortably suit five guests, with a main double bedroom, a twin room and a single bedroom. If you're on the taller side, worth noting the double bed's footboard has come up as a tight fit for guests over six foot.
Outside, there's a shared courtyard garden, a nice spot for a morning cuppa, plus a raised decked balcony for Bryn Awel guests, good for catching the evening sun. Parking is on nearby streets rather than on-site.
For a simple base, bang in the centre of one of Anglesey's best villages, with everything on your doorstep and nothing to overthink, Bryn Awel is genuinely hard to beat for the price.
