A lovely cottage and a great location. Perfect for the dogs. Small grassed area out front and handy porch area to dry dogs off, hang coats, boots etc. cottage was clean and had everything we needed.

Louise, 30 January 2025

We had a brilliant week in Bwthyn Siwan and the accommodation was excellent and very clean . The location is brilliant with a great pub just down the road and there are great walks on the doorstep .

Andrew, 20 January 2025

This was our third stay this year. We return because the accomodation is excellent. Spotlessly clean. A sandy estuary is a 3 minute walk away and this leads to a wide beach. Excellent for dogs. How I managed it I don't know, but on this visit I arrived a day early. So, at 4.30pm on a Friday evening ...

Gordon, 05 December 2024

Stayed here several times, all lovely properties, superb location by a stunning beach and very dog friendly 10 out of 10

Guest, 21 November 2024

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay very convenient for the beach and the cafe/ bar was really very good. Staff very present.

isobel, 12 November 2024

The property is perfect, modern and spotlessly clean. There is everything you need including a welcome pack. Great parking close to the beach. Cosy place to stay

Amanda, 14 October 2024

We arrived early with a view of going to find somewhere to eat. There was an extremely pleasant member of staff on site and without asking he contacted housekeeping and then told us we could go into the cottage. How nice of him. As each time we have been before it was a great week. Warm, quiet, ...

Maureen, 06 October 2024

This is our fourth stay on the complex, in a different apartment each time. We would not choose to stay in this apartment again, preferring the other 2 larger apartments we have stayed in. Our only complaint was the very uncomfortable bed in the downstairs bedroom. It was very hard and this could...

Elizabeth, 28 September 2024

A lovely cottage, great location, everything you need in the cottage. Comfortable beds and lovely large soft towels.

Beverley, 28 August 2024

Great location, with the added benefit of a local beach. Ideal for walking, cycling and relaxing. Lovely cafe nearby.

E M, 23 August 2024

This is the 3rd time I have stayed on this small development of holiday cottages. The locations is great for the beach and local walks. Modern deco and well equipped kitchen made it an ideal property for me for a weeks holiday.

Elizabeth, 12 June 2024

The letting was everything that we wanted. It was spotlessly clean had everything we needed and the few staff we met were really helpful and very friendly. My sister and I are from Anglesey and live in England and we were very impressed with accommodation and location. It was central to visiting o...

Julie, 05 June 2024

Great cottage for 2 couples. Only downside is it's noisy upstairs as there is no door, so you all need to go to bed at the same time.

Helen, 11 May 2024

A short break to visit relatives on Anglesey. The cottage itself was really lovely kept clean with comfy beds / bedding all facilities in good condition. The on site cafe was super and very busy! Good walks along the dunes kept our dog happy. Only downside there's no pub left in the village.

Derek, 17 April 2024

Last minute trip. First time in Aberffraw, what a beautiful place and the dog loved the dunes and beach. 2 adults and our dog. Cottage was comfy, well equipped and had essentials that most cottages dont, along with some treats..even for the dog. Small enclosed private front garden with picnic tabl...

Katie, 09 March 2024

My father in law stayed here whilst we were next door. It was our third stay, his first. He loved it. The cottages are perfect, the location is amazing. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We'll be booking for next year which says it all really.

Lloyd, 31 January 2024

Great little cottage, perfect for two people with small dogs. Newly refurbished en suite & bathroom. Unfortunately ground floor tiled area replaced by new carpet which made keeping place clean difficult with wet boots and dogs in winter. I always choose this cottage for tiled floor and now it is ca...

Guest, 19 November 2023

Lovely cottage in a gorgeous setting. Upside: the walk to the beach and the beach itself is one of the most beautiful walks ever. The cottage was beautiful and comfortable and the sheep in the back field a delight to watch. Downside: only one. unfortunately the 2 pubs in the village are gone and ...

Pauline, 23 October 2023

Pleasantly surprised that this cottage was bigger than photos portray & larger than the cottage next door that I previously stayed in.Very high standard not 1 but 2 newly refurbished shower rooms- I've never had a the experience of a "rain shower" luxury - 2 x shower heads- wow. Considering I sleep ...

Debbie, 04 October 2023

This was our second booking at the complex and certainly won't be our last. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and perfect for two couples, there are some beautiful walks straight from the door and most places of interest are within a 30 minute drive. I will certainly miss the view of the sh...

Christine, 30 August 2023

Very quiet location with fantastic beach for our dog who was very interested in the cows looking through the window. Very clean and comfortable. Would be a little cramped with 4 adults I think although very handy having 2 showers. Sloping roof in bedroom causes my husband to bang his head a few ti...

Deborah, 25 July 2023

Really enjoyed staying here for our first holiday for a few years. There's a beach near by and a lovely cafe on the site. Will be definitely booking again next year. Was a good choice.

Paul, 05 July 2023

Love the area and Bwthyn Siwan is a perfect location for a base. Anglesey is a bit of a hidden gem and I would recommend this property very highly

David, 15 June 2023

Having stayed in Anglesey for our holidays several times we found this location to be ideal for close proximity to the beautiful walk along the estuary to beach a beach with wow factor.

Paul, 25 May 2023

Lovely little place close to the beach and lots of walks. Just little niggles, the hall way walls were dirty, there were quite a few large stains on the carpet downstairs and in the upstairs bedroom. In places painting is required. None of this effected my stay would go back.

Karen, 08 April 2023

Had a lovely stay cottage was lovely everything you needed bedding and towels were spotless we both enjoyed our stay

Susan, 26 October 2022

We've stayed about 6 times now we love the walks and so near the sea. plenty of places to eat. Very enjoyable cottage but, stains on carpet, settee smelt of dogs, freezer in fridge, the door was frozen shut with excess ice. Bad stains on mattress cover, yuck, upstairs floor boards creak excess...

Glenda, 19 October 2022

Cottage was nice and clean, just what we needed for 2 adults, 2 teens and a dog. Welcome pack was lovely and even got some treats for the dog. Big enough for those rainy days and well equipped for making your own meals. Thank you for making our holiday enjoyable.

Jane, 21 March 2022

Cosy Cottage had a lovely stay very quiet, lovely views of the Sheep in the field behind the cottage.

Guest, 05 January 2022

This was our second stay at the cottage. It's a good base for visiting Anglesey, especially for visiting The Little Church in The Sea which you can walk to directly from the cottage and can make into a circular walk by adding some coast path and the estuary. Llanddwyn Island, Anglesey Model Vil...

Janet, 13 October 2021

Karen, 28 September 2019

We thought it might seem small, but it was fine for just two people - may have been crowded with four. Appreciated having an en-suite upstairs with the main bedroom, also having the cloakroom/shower room downstairs. Thought we would miss having a back garden, but the weather was hardly nice enoug...

Sheila, 09 November 2018

This is my third visit and again generally very happy with the accommodation and the helpful organisation which runs it. It is good value for money. I have previously suggested that there should be a washing machine available, and, if this is not feasible, perhaps a voucher per week for the laundry....

Chris, 26 October 2018

A brush , mop and bucket would be useful to sweep the floor after visiting the beach. only one saucepan was provided ,a full set would enable visitors to cook food instead of relying in the pub. Simple things like a toilet roll holder and soap dish in the shower would be welcome...otherwise a very n...

John, 15 July 2018

Couldn't fault anything about the cottage, everything was just as described, great breakfast at the local cafe and great meals at the local pub. Excellent beach within easy walking distance and easy access to all that the island has to offer.

Jean, 28 June 2018

We found the cottage ideally situated in lovely Aberffraw.Lovely walk on the beach at the side of the estuary to stunning views in the distance of Snowdonia. The only criticism we found was that we were unable to close the downstairs bathroom door which was next to the kitchen !

Guest, 15 June 2018

We had another great stay. We love the cottage and it's just right for us and the dogs. Anglesey is a great place to explore very dog friendly.

Anthony, 16 May 2018

We thought the cottage was very comfortable and nice and warm. The little extras like the milk and tea and coffee were a nice gesture. The only thing missing was a sweeping brush which when you have a dog is a must for sweeping the dog hair. Apart from that everything was excellent, Thank You John ...

John, 16 April 2018

John, 03 January 2018

Our 1st stay in Aberffraw and I must say the best cottage we have stayed in on Anglesey. The cottage was bright, modern and spotlessly clean. It's a great location and the onsite cafe served great food and we were able to takeaway, which helped with having two dogs with us. Near to the estuary and ...

Jane, 02 October 2017

We booked Bwythyn Siwan on the internet and it was a great find. Loved Anglesey although the weather could have been kinder. Rhosneigr Holiday Rentals deserve special mention. We made a last minute decision to take a short break so were prepared to experience difficulty in finding a place to stay but this couldn't have been easier to find and book. Jeffrey, 11 September 2017

Beautiful refurbished cottages. Helpful support from Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings. Linda and her team in the tea rooms is an enrichment in every respect. We had a happy week staying at Bwthyn Siwan in Aberffraw. We were principally in Anglesey to attend the National Eisteddfod but did manage a little sightseeing too. Middle of 3 little cottages in a lovely quiet area with great access to the beach (perfect for dogs!). It is very nicely appointed and comfortable though the kitchen equipment is lacking somewhat. I couldn't say enough about this holiday cottage in Aberffraw. I also couldn't fault my 2 week stay for any reason. The Location

Aberffraw means “Estuary of the River Ffraw,” with ‘Aber’ meaning estuary. The beach, locally called ‘Traeth Mawr’ (“Big Beach”), is a stunning sandy bay surrounded by dunes. This peaceful village on Anglesey’s west coast is perfect for families, dog walkers, and beach lovers. A small shop and Llys Llewelyn tea rooms, known for homemade cakes, serve the community. Nearby, the Church in the Sea (St Cwyfan’s) sits on a tidal islet, magical at low tide. Scenic coastal paths offer views of Bardsey Island, the Llyn Peninsula, and Snowdonia, while Rhosneigr provides more dining and shopping options.

About Us

Whats to know about us? We’re a friendly, local team based on the Isle of Anglesey. We’ve got a range of experiences and backgrounds but most importantly we love the Island. We are keen to work with you to make your holiday as perfect as possible.
