Susan, 20 October 2024

Spent a lovely week in cottage Bwthyn Dwynwen the cottage had everything you need. Lovely to have milk and tea coffee and biscuits on arrival. No need to take washing up or cleaning products all provided for you. Only thing we found was the sofa and chairs were a bit low for us. Bed was lovely and ...

We stayed here for a week at the end of September. What a lovely comfortable cottage! Spotlessly clean, well equipped and nicely furnished. It is very well located and we loved the walk through the village down to the estuary and along to the beach, perfect if you have a dog. We also loved the proxi...

Karen, 04 October 2024

This was my first time booking with Anglesey holiday lettings and I wasn't dissapointed. The cottage was modern, comfortable, clean and in an ideal location for touring the island. Close by within easy walking distance was an estuary and beautiful beach.Great for me, my elderly father and our 3 dogs...

Enjoyed our first stay here very much. The cottage was well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Lovely weather, so saw it at its best. Plenty of parking with the addition of ev charging points which was great, ensuring we didn't need to go hunting to recharge the car. Definitely wil be back!

Margaret, 07 September 2024

After a tortuous road trip, 11 hours, delays everywhere, it was a relief to find the property so easily, and to be able to make ourselves comfortable very quickly. A very bright property, excellent condition, comfy beds, and a good shower which really needs a shelf on which to place soap and stuff. ...

Colin, 26 June 2024

Wonderful location, close to walks. Do your shopping for food before you arrive as the village shop is not well stocked. Cottage was perfect for our needs and we will be back. A few stains on the sitting room carpet but that is too be expected with it being dog friendly. Kitchen well equipped alt...

Cheryl, 15 May 2024

I have stayed at Llys Llewelyn Cottages on multiple occasions & find the cottages well kept & comfortable to stay in. Brilliant for a dog friendly holiday. Short walk to the Estuary, wonderful beach to walk on. Already booked for next year.

Tracey, 08 May 2024

The quality of the property was first class. Given our ages we struggled to utilise the downstairs bedroom and we found the lack of space access to the 'wall' side of the bed made it impossible to use especially as it was also anticipated that use of the facilities during the night would be requir...

Guest, 08 May 2024

Lovely little stay. Accommodation was lovely and had everything we needed. Great to have somewhere dog friendly. Would stay again even though the area was very quiet.

Sarah, 23 November 2023

Thank you for another wonderful stay at Bwthyn Dwynwen . A lovely location on the Island and so close to lots of beach walks. I love the upgrade to the bathroom but I would suggest needs some more towel hooks and a shelf for toothbrush and toiletries, to save them being left on the sink base. Other ...

Susie, 11 November 2023

This property is very conveniently located for Aberffraw beach, which is fantastic, and the town of Rhosneigr which offers more to do in the day and night, and close to many other attractions in Anglesey. The view over the fields at the back of the property is beautiful with cows and sheep wandering...

Christopher, 09 August 2023

3rd.visit to this lovely complex and won't be the last. If we were being picky, having refurbished one of the bedrooms and bathroom, the living area now looks a little tired and perhaps a little more attention to the high level cobwebs!!Also I believe a washing machine is available but no drying faci...

Nick, 12 July 2023

Colin, 24 October 2022

Lovely Cottage in a great location. Very well equipped. For 4 adults I think this cottage would be too small. For the 2 of us it was ideal. Fabulous walks locally. We stay regularly in Aberffraw. First time at these cottages and would stay again. The Crown which is a 2 minute walk serves great food...

Andrea, 05 October 2022

Excellent, as always. Probably being very picky with the 4 for condition but felt that the bathroom looks a bit "tired".Certainly will not deter me from visiting again.

Guest, 20 July 2022

Will definitely return! Brilliant customer service, clean accommodation, beautiful village. Have been visiting for years and always love it

Lynn, 14 July 2022

Excellent location, minutes to the estuary, the beach and coastal path. Cottage was clean and well equipped. It was perfect for two but for four adults it would certainly be a squeeze. The downstairs bedroom doesn't leave much for manoeuvre. We used this room for storage only. The living area ...

Elizabeth, 13 July 2022

THIS IS A LOVELY COTTAGE AND IN A GREAT LOCATION, JUST A SHORT STROLL TO THE VILLAGE PUB FOR GREAT FOOD AND EASY ACCESS TO THE LOCAL BEACH AND DUNES. Deborah, 22 September 2019

Had a great stay although the wifi didn't work all week. I raised this via phone on the Monday following our arrival on the Fri. I was told it was Angelsey and the signal is intermittent, this was obviously confused with the mobile phone signal. After our return home I contacted Rhosneigr Holiday...

Ben, 04 September 2019

Jean, 12 July 2019

Generally good - could do with some tweaks - e.g. a coffee table and some 'mood' lighting. But good service when needed - very responsive.

Great spot to stay on Anglesey, excellent base for walking from. Lovely village with a cracking little pub for meals.

Sean, 15 October 2018

This was just right for us as the cottages are just on the edge of the village. There's a good little shop and excellent pub to eat and drink at. There's also a cafe across the way if you don't feel like cooking a breakfast. The cottage is lovely, quite small but more than suitable for a couple, a ...

David, 19 August 2018

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful area of Angelsey. The cows and sheep at the rear of the property come right up to the window which my son loved. The cottage was as described so no surprises. Ann Marie, 15 August 2018

I think 4 in the afternoon is a little late for entrance to the property. 3 would be much better. Found the cottage and access to it easily enough. First impressions were very good, although a dark stain on the lounge carpet was a little off putting. Nice little welcome pack enabled a cup f tea and ...

This cottage has already been recommended to many of our friends and relatives, even on the first day of arrival!. There was 2 adults,2 teenages and 2 small dogs and there was ample room for all of us. The porch on the front is massive, so it fit the dog crate in as well as all our beach/sea gear. T...

The Location

Aberffraw means “Estuary of the River Ffraw,” with ‘Aber’ meaning estuary. The beach, locally called ‘Traeth Mawr’ (“Big Beach”), is a stunning sandy bay surrounded by dunes. This peaceful village on Anglesey’s west coast is perfect for families, dog walkers, and beach lovers. A small shop and Llys Llewelyn tea rooms, known for homemade cakes, serve the community. Nearby, the Church in the Sea (St Cwyfan’s) sits on a tidal islet, magical at low tide. Scenic coastal paths offer views of Bardsey Island, the Llyn Peninsula, and Snowdonia, while Rhosneigr provides more dining and shopping options.

About Us

Whats to know about us? We’re a friendly, local team based on the Isle of Anglesey. We’ve got a range of experiences and backgrounds but most importantly we love the Island. We are keen to work with you to make your holiday as perfect as possible.
