Bryn Bach is tucked away on a quiet private lane in the village of Llanfaelog, this one-bedroom annexe sits in a genuinely peaceful spot with wide open views. Floor-to-ceiling French doors and windows flood the space with natural light and make the most of the countryside setting.

Inside, the open-plan living space is comfortable and cosy. There's a wood-burner for cooler evenings, a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchen for everything from a proper breakfast to a picnic packed for the day ahead. The king-size bedroom is quiet, and the bathroom has a shower over bath.

The real draw here is the location. Step outside and you're already on the doorstep of some brilliant walking, the Oyster Catcher in Rhosneigr is around 15 minutes on foot through the fields, with the beach just beyond. The lake is equally accessible, straight from the door. It's worth wearing sturdy footwear. RAF Valley is just a couple of miles away, and if you've never watched a fighter jet take off at close range, it's quite something, there's even a viewing spot just beyond Rhosneigr worth seeking out.

The hot tub and patio area are for quieter evenings after a long day out rather than a manicured spa experience. This is a rural hideaway, and it feels like one.

Bryn Bach is good value, honestly priced, and in a location that consistently surprises guests. If wide skies, peaceful lanes and easy access to the coast is what you're after, it delivers.

One car parking directly in front of the property.

A lovely place to stay in a gorgeous setting. Very clear instructions for finding the property and easy access. A clean and welcoming space and very well decorated and equipped. I would return again. It was lovely.

A lovely property in a very peaceful setting. Exactly what we were looking for to enjoy a restful holiday and just a few minutes drive to Rhosneigr. The property was really well equipped and the welcome basket was a lovely touch when we arrived.

Great location, but unexpected rules for dogs. It was advertised as dog friendly but no dogs are allowed in the bedroom or on furniture. Bryn bach really isn't a cottage, it's more like a Shepherd's hut/lodge but small. The hot tub is a Swedish hot tub that takes roughly 6 hours to heat in winter mo...

Excellent place with fantastic views

We had a lovely few days here, it was like a home from home. It was cosy in the evenings with the log burner rocking, fully equipped kitchen and really comfortable. Even left a blanket and goody bag for the dog 🐾 lots of lovely places to see within walking distance, beaches, bars and eateries an...

We had a great stay here, very comfortable accommodation and easy to find. Easy dog walks from the doorstep and access to cross country paths to walk to all amenities in Rhosneigr, which was lovely. Very nice to have the small outside decking area and French doors onto it.

Really lovely comfortable lodge for me and my dog. It was in a peaceful location easily walkable across the field and roads to Rhosneigr. It was lovely touch to have a basket of goodies for me and my dog too. I had an issue with slow draining bath which they came to sort promptly but it was still sl...

We enjoyed our stay here very peaceful location with great views and nice walks and within distance of places to visit. My only gripe would be the comfort of the bed which I found quite uncomfortable they definitely need to invest in a good mattress as I found it sloped slightly and wasn't very comf...

Where do I even start. This place is TERRIBLE. As soon as we walked in, there was a bad smell everywhere. It was even worse in the bedroom. The Hot Tub that was advertised was a hot BATH. The toilet brush had someone else's faeces in it, and the bathroom bath clocked up with water and dirty water ca...

We stayed for 5 nights. The home is a perfect size for two people and a large dog, so peaceful, great location and well equipped. The surrounding area is beautiful with access to many dog friendly beaches. Rhosneigr is only a short drive away with great restaurants, shops and lovely beaches. There...

A great place to stay, it's easy, yet a little small for a large dog. Feedback given to host.

Lovely place, including the hot tub which takes a bit of prep to set up but great once hot. walkable to the nearby lake and beach so great for dogs. Very clean and comfortable.

This is an amazing hidden gem in a beautiful space in Wales. The place is surprisingly spacious and just beautiful. Felt right at home.

We really enjoyed staying here. Clean and tidy, well laid out. We did have a problem on the first night though with no hot water or heating apart from the log burner ofcourse. I reported the problem and someone did come out that night, he did leave us with extra logs thankfully and it was fixed ...

Amazing stay!!

Guest, 08 December 2025

This isnt so tiny a home but it is very close to other properties which isn't apparent in the photos. Check in & out times are strict (which is fine) & reminders are too frequent; we will always adhere to the ‘rules' Ahostile welcome because we were 30 minutes early was not really hospitable or w...

Great find as described. Pictures and description don't do it justice. Lovely place, private despite being in a shared space.

The Location

Llanfaelog (said: hlan-Vay-log) is a quiet Anglesey village, just a few minutes inland from the bustling seaside resort of Rhosneigr.

It's a peaceful base with easy access to some of Anglesey's best natural and coastal spots. Coed Cwr y Pwll, a National Forest right nearby, has woodland trails, wildflower meadows and a pond to explore. A short hop away, Rhosneigr's Traeth Crigyll beach is made for water sports, with Funsport running kitesurfing and paddleboarding lessons, followed, ideally, by a seaside ice cream.

By car, you can reach Trearddur Bay's Trefignath Burial Chambers, Porth Diana Nature Reserve, or pick up the Wales Coast Path for a proper walk. Whether you're after adventure or a slower pace, Llanfaelog makes a solid base for either.

The property includes private parking and is close to Ty Croes station (about 2 minutes by car). While there are limited buses, driving is the easiest way to get around Anglesey from here.
