Golf on Anglesey

New Season, New Perks

There’s something about spring on Anglesey that makes you want to get back outdoors, the brighter mornings, the sea breeze drifting across the island, and the first days warm enough to dust off the clubs and head for the fairways. It’s the perfect time to start planning a golf‑themed break, and this year we’ve got even more reasons to play.

We’ve just teamed up with Storws Wen Golf Course on the east side of the island, a relaxed and welcoming parkland course with Snowdonia framing the horizon. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time, enjoy the scenery and ease into the season. Even better: if you book Sandaig or Ty Wawr, you’ll receive a free round of golf for four. It’s a brilliant perk for families, mixed‑ability groups or anyone who fancies a laid‑back morning on the greens. Storws Wen also offers FootGolf and Boules, so there’s something for non‑golfers too.

This new partnership sits perfectly alongside our existing collaboration with Anglesey Golf Club in Rhosneigr. Set among rolling dunes just a short walk from the sea, it’s a course with a real coastal character, and guests staying in selected properties also enjoy a complimentary round for four here too.

Two great courses, two different sides of the island, and two lovely bonuses for our guests.

Of course, these are just the starting points. Anglesey has a wonderfully varied golf scene, from the kid‑friendly Mon Golf in Llangefni (where guests receive 10% off) to the dramatic, windswept challenge of Holyhead Golf Club, the peaceful woodland setting of Baron Hill in Beaumaris, and the classic parkland style of Henllys Hall nearby. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just giving golf a try, there’s a course that fits.

Part of the charm here is that golf on Anglesey is simple, scenic and unhurried. Add in a few exclusive AHL perks, and it becomes one of those thoughtful extras that make a holiday feel that bit more special.

Spring’s here, new partnerships are in place, and the fairways are calling.
