Master Cancel offers you the confidence to book knowing that if you have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances between 60 and 2 days before your holiday, you will receive a full refund of your accommodation costs. Now valid on all new bookings with an arrival date after 1st August 2020.
Do I have to give a reason for cancelling?
Yes but the only circumstances where you would not be refunded are those listed below in ‘Is there any scenario not covered by Master Cancel’. You can cancel within 2-60 days of your arrival date. There are no forms to complete and we do not need any evidence such as doctor’s notes. We do require written notice of cancellation by email from you, it must be from the email address used to make the booking, sent to email@example.com and acknowledged by us by return email.
What if I cancel within 2 days prior to arrival?
Bookings cancelled within 2 days of arrival are not refundable I’m afraid. For example – if you are arriving on a Monday, you can cancel up to the Saturday. Cancellations on Sunday (day before) or Monday (arrival day) will not be covered by Master Cancel. We require written notice of cancellation by email from the email address attached to the booking. The date and time stamp attached to the email we receive will be provided as evidence of cancellation.
What if I cancel before 60 days prior to arrival?
Cancelling more than 60 days before arrival does not activate Master Cancel. We would recommend waiting for the 60-day cancellation period to start before cancelling your booking.
If I have to cancel what do I get back and when?
When you wish to cancel your holiday, you will get back 100% of the rental charge minus any booking fees. Refund payments are processed on the departure date of the cancelled booking.
Does this include existing bookings made before 1st August 2020?
No Master Cancel is only included for these bookings.
I have a Covid-19 voucher code, does Master Cancel cover the new booking?
No sadly not. One of the conditions set by the underwriter is that it is for brand new bookings only, uncompleted bookings which were given voucher codes are not covered by Master Cancel.
Is Covid-19 included?
Yes. Whether it is because you do not want to risk becoming unwell, whether you are isolating or if there is a government lockdown of Anglesey Holiday Lettings. Master Cancel will cover this.
Can I choose not to have Master Cancel?
No. Master Cancel is valid on all bookings from 1st August 2020 and is included in the cost of the booking
What may invalidate Master Cancel?
If you have not made your balance payment on time (30 days prior to arrival) and then wish to cancel your holiday it will not be covered by Master Cancel. To ensure your holiday is covered please make sure all necessary payments are made on the specified dates in your correspondence. You will also need to pay the full 25% deposit that’s required to secure your holiday.
