Sometimes you don't need a week away. You just need out. A night or two somewhere that isn't your living room, your routine, or your responsibilities. The Dunes, Room 12 at Y Glan Aparthotel is exactly that, a proper little escape, right in the heart of Rhosneigr. Y Glan is brand new to the village and already feels like it belongs here. It's stylish without being fussy, comfortable without being corporate, and just far enough from everyday life to make you exhale the moment you walk in.

The Dunes is a studio apartment with an open-plan living and sleeping space. The king bed sits at the heart of it, dressed well, with a large mounted TV positioned perfectly to watch from your bed. Round the corner is a kitchenette that's equipped for an independent stay, a cafetière, an air fryer, and the basics to keep you going. Although with Rhosneigr's cafés, restaurants and local shops just a short stroll away, you'll probably want to. The private en-suite shower room is modern and all yours.

For longer stays or those who like to travel properly, there's a communal laundry room available to all guests, fitted with large washing machines and tumble dryers. Ironing boards, irons and drying racks are also on hand, everything you need to pack light and stay fresh.

Outside, there's an enclosed grassy area to the front of the building, a lovely spot to sit out, let the dog roam freely, or simply get some air without going anywhere at all. Y Glan is a genuinely dog-friendly building, and four-legged guests are as welcome here as their owners. Round the back is a seating area, sheltered and a little sun trap with individual storage huts for each apartment to use.

The beach is just moments away. The coastal paths are right there. The village, with its watersports, independent shops and easy pace is on your doorstep. Whether you're here with a partner for a quiet weekend, meeting a friend for a change of scene, or simply treating yourself to a solo reset by the sea, Room 12 gives you everything you need and nothing you don't.

Allocated parking on site means you can arrive, unload, and get straight to the good part.
