Location: Space. Quietness. Then just a five-minute walk down the path is a sandy beach and cove, closer to Tyn Llwydan Farm than to anywhere else, for you to enjoy.
Tyn Llwydan Farm (pronounced Tin Hloo-id-an) has stood on this stretch of Anglesey coastline since the early 1600s, in the same family since 1741, and it arrives with something most holidays can only promise: a sandy beach and cove just five minutes’ walk from your door. This property offers space. Real, uninterrupted space, for families, long weekends, and proper gatherings.
The skies here are some of the darkest on the island, and on a clear night, the stars are extraordinary. There are even whispers of a smuggling past. Whether legend or history, it only adds to the character of a place that has clearly seen a great deal of life.
Inside you’ll find a brand new kitchen, a separate dining room and a large sitting room. Upstairs, a spacious landing connects four of the five bedrooms, and every window frames a view worth stopping for. The furniture, the fabrics, the little details, all chosen to feel right for a place like this. Fresh and comfortable, but with real character running through it. History, a bit of humour, and more than a few stories worth telling the kids at bedtime.
The five bedrooms sleep ten between them and each has its own name. Lloft Fawr is the master king room with its own en-suite. The Sea Room is a second king. Lloft Bach and Llofft yr Hogiau are the two doubles, and the Pink Room completes the house as a twin.
One of Tyn Llwydan’s most remarkable features is the beach and cove, reached on foot straight from the property. Whether that means morning swims before breakfast, bonfires at dusk, or simply somewhere for the children to spend the entire day, this is the kind of thing that turns a holiday into a story, or even a film!
Important to note: The lane leading down to Tyn Llwydan Farm is single track, so please take it slowly. The farm is a working rural landscape, so guests are asked to keep children and pets supervised, follow countryside safety guidance, and not to enter or climb on any agricultural buildings or structures. There is ample private parking on site, with space for multiple vehicles.

The Location
Bodorgan (said: boh-DOR-gan) is a quiet hamlet in southwest Anglesey, wrapped in rolling farmland and just 3 miles from the coast.
It's got royal history too. Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton chose to live at Bodorgan Hall during his time stationed at RAF Valley, built in 1782, it remains the largest country house and estate on Anglesey. Royal commentators have said the pair saw the island as a ‘refuge,’ and it's easy to see why once you're here.
Nearby beaches like Aberffraw (5 mins) and Rhosneigr (10 mins) cover swimming, kitesurfing and paddleboarding, while nature lovers can head to Newborough Forest, Llanddwyn Island, or walk the Malltraeth Cob. Bodorgan has its own railway station and easy access to Bethel, Llangadwaladr and Hermon, plus a small shop for essentials, a genuinely peaceful base in Anglesey's countryside.
On-site parking included. It’s a quiet, coastal village with no nearby train station, so we recommend having a car to explore the rest of Anglesey.
