Where to Watch Fireworks in North Wales
Where to Watch Fireworks in North Wales (Without Scaring the Sheep)
Remember, remember… the 5th of November! Bonfire Night is nearly here, and if you’re staying with us on Anglesey, you’re in for a treat, North Wales knows how to light up the sky.
We’ve rounded up some of the best organised displays nearby, so you can enjoy the sparkle without the stress. And just a gentle reminder: please don’t set off fireworks at our properties. We know it’s tempting, but it’s a big no-no, not just for safety, but for the sake of our lovely neighbours and their livestock. Horses don’t love surprise explosions. Neither do sheep. Or dogs. Or most humans, to be honest.
So, wrap up warm, grab a hot drink, and head out to one of these brilliant displays instead:

Beaumaris Fireworks
Saturday 8th November 2025
One of the biggest and best in North Wales, live music, food stalls, and a cracking atmosphere.
Top tip: Head to Beaumaris Green for the best view. Parking’s decent, but the roads can get busy, so arrive early.
Gazelle/Bangor Pier Fireworks
5th November – check their Facebook to book a table
Mulled wine, live music, and a dreamy view across the Menai Strait.
Top tip: Book a table inside if you fancy staying warm while watching the show.
Trearddur Bay Hotel Bonfire
Saturday 1st November – check Facebook for updates
A charity event supporting St David’s Hospice. Bonfire at 6.30pm, fireworks at 7pm.
Top tip: Grab a bite and a drink at the outdoor 1828 Bar Gardd A Chegin, great view, great vibes.
Holyhead & District Round Table Display
5th November 2025
Gates open at 5.30pm, bonfire at 6pm, fireworks at 7pm. Expect artisan food stalls and a proper community feel.
Top tip: Penrhos Beach is the place to be. It’s a bit of a drive, but totally worth it.
Llandudno Fireworks Display
Friday 7th November 2025
A professional show with all the sparkle. If the weather’s wild, it’ll move to Saturday.
Top tip: North Shore Promenade is your go-to spot.
Caernarfon Fireworks Night
Wednesday 5th November 2025
Some of our team swear by watching from the Anglesey side, parked up near Halen Môn and the Sea Zoo, glass in hand, soaking up the view across the water.
Top tip: It’s quieter, scenic, and you avoid the crowds. There’s a fee to enter the main event, but the view from afar is magic.
So, there you have it, plenty of places to enjoy the sparkle safely and spectacularly. Let’s keep Anglesey peaceful, pet-friendly, and neighbour-happy this Bonfire Night.
No fireworks at our properties, please but plenty of fun out there to be had.
