Looking for a fresh escape? Moelfre is the ideal spot for young couples, dog lovers, and anyone needing a break from the usual. Located along the northeast coast of Anglesey, Moelfre combines laid-back vibes with awesome coastal paths, plenty of beach space, and unbeatable sea views.
Our newest property, Tamarisk, is right in the heart of Moelfre. This pet-friendly, single-storey cottage is all about ease – sea views from the patio, and the beach just a short walk away. Perfect for bringing along your dog (or two) and unplugging for a few days. If Tamarisk is booked, we’ve got more properties nearby.

Things to do in Moelfre
Start your day with a walk on the Anglesey Coastal Path, a short stroll from Tamarisk, and head toward Lligwy Beach – wide open sands where dogs can roam free. Or trek further to Traeth yr Ora (Golden Sands) for a quiet spot to chill, cast a line, or just take in the views. Moelfre’s also got a solid dose of history – check out the Seawatch Centre to learn about the area’s lifeboat heritage and some pretty epic rescues.
When you’re ready to kick back, Ann’s Pantry is a Moelfre classic. It’s been a go-to since 1926 and has become a staple for locals and visitors. The cafe serves up rich, homemade hot chocolates, locally sourced bites, and freshly baked cakes. With a commitment to seasonal and natural ingredients, the menu is as fresh as it is tasty. Just be prepared for a short wait on busy days (it’s worth it!), and dogs are welcome both inside and outside, as long as they’re on a lead.
For a meal with a view, grab a table at The Kinmel Arms right on the beach – perfect for winding down with beer and pub classics after a day outside.

And don’t miss the Coastal Cafe for the ultimate seaside fish and chip experience. Fresh seafood, and Red Boat ice cream.
If you’re ready for a break that feels miles away from the everyday, Moelfre is calling. Book Tamarisk or one of our nearby properties.
