Building a Legacy Together
At AHL, caring for our guests, our island, and our communities is at the heart of everything we do. With nearly 100 holiday homes across Anglesey, we recognise our responsibility to protect the island’s natural beauty and to give back to the people who make it so special.
Reflecting on 2025
This year has been a milestone for us. Together, with the incredible support of our team, guests, and partners, we’ve raised nearly £70,000 for charities close to our hearts. From backing local schools, Môn Gymnastics, and football clubs, to supporting national organisations like The Royal Marines Charity, The Afghan Sports Trust, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Bowel Cancer UK, and Mencap, every pound raised has made a difference.

In May 2025, we proudly launched our Pay Back Model, pledging to donate £1 from every guest booking to charity. This initiative ensures that every holiday booked with AHL gives something back to communities and causes that need it most. Fully funded by AHL, and supported by many of our owners, this model is already building a legacy of care across Anglesey and beyond.
Miles of Meaning in 2026
I couldn’t be prouder of this team. Day in, day out they show skill, care, and heart, not just for our guests, but for the wider community too. Nearly £70,000 raised in just a few years is no accident; it’s the result of ultras, marathons, climbs, raffles, and sheer determination. If I can inspire even one person to take on a challenge or support a cause, then I’m happy. I wish the team every success in their efforts, their commitment and spirit make me proud every single day.’ Says Jamie Miles, Owner of AHL
We’re not stopping here. 2026 is set to be even bigger, with more of our team stepping up to take on incredible challenges:
- Jamie & Barbs – London Marathon (April 2026) for Mencap UK
- Lauren, Alannah & Emma – She Ultra 50km race (April 2026) for Women’s Cancer charities
- Lorraine & Jay – Relay for Life 24‑hour event (June 2026) for Cancer Research
- Jamie – Ring of Fire 135‑mile ultra marathon (September 2026) for Bowel Cancer UK
- Barbs – Firelighter Ultra (September 2026) for charity

These challenges aren’t just about fundraising, they’re about creating memories, supporting causes that matter, and showing what we can achieve together.
Thank You
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, or cheered us on. Your support powers every step, every mile, and every challenge, and every penny raised.
Stay Connected…
To keep the momentum going, we’ve set up a new Facebook page dedicated to AHL charity efforts: AHL Charity 2026. It continues the legacy of the Green Yeti work that Jamie and Barbs have championed over the years, a history worth carrying forward.
Follow the page, tag your updates, and join us in celebrating every achievement. Keep an eye on our social channels, donate if you can, and maybe even lace up your own shoes to take part.
Here’s to 2026: more challenges, more impact, and more reasons to be proud of what we achieve together.
