Sand Dollar is a brilliant holiday home situated in a quiet residential area. The private driveway takes you out to a pedestrian access and onto a lane that leads on to Rhosneigr village high street.

So, although this property enjoys a peaceful and private location, it’s also an easy gentle stroll into the village with its local shops and a great selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs, and down to the beach and the kilometres of golden sand beaches that Anglesey is famous for.

It’s the best of both worlds!

The house is extremely welcoming and has been tastefully decorated in a New England shabby chic style. Each room features louvre shutters which add to the overall charm of the accommodation and allow as much natural light as you'd like during the day, and which create a warm and cosy environment during the evenings or for rainy stay-on days.

Who is Sand Dollar for?

With five bedrooms sleeping up to 11 guests, Sand Dollar is ideal for multi-generational family holidays or friend groups. There is plenty of space for the whole family to come together and spread out to enjoy relaxing downtime when needed.

What’s more, with three bedrooms on the ground floor, it’s ideal for families travelling with toddlers, grandparents or guests who have difficulty with stairs.

Ground Floor

Enter the property into a bright hallway that is flooded with natural light. To the left is a large formal dining room with seating for 10 guests. This is a fabulous space for dinner party celebrations and post-dinner card games.

The incredible country-style kitchen is the centrepiece of the ground floor and the place for relaxed socialising over a glass of wine while preparing family meals, picnics or a summer BBQ.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has plenty of workspaces so everyone can get involved, including a breakfast table where the kids can enjoy a snack or afternoon tea and cakes.

The kitchen has patio doors out to the garden, which is ideal for taking out food to prepare on the BBQ and bringing everything back inside after dinner

A large utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer and this leads into a large shower room great for washing sandy toes and salty hair.

Ground Floor Bedrooms

On the ground floor, there are two super-king bedrooms, one with a luxurious underfloor heated en-suite and a third bedroom with two single beds, with storage and with patio doors leading out to the garden.

As mentioned above, there is a large bathroom with a walk in shower, bath and underfloor heating on the ground floor with a washbasin and toilet, so no need to traipse upstairs for anything in this holiday home. Everything you need is on the ground floor!

First Floor

The first floor features a spacious living room which has been designed so that in one half of the room you can come together to watch your favourite series or enjoy a movie night on the large flat-screen TV and at the other end you can relax with a good book or take in the beautiful views over to the Llyn Peninsula. From here, you can head outside onto a Juliette Balcony.

First Floor bedrooms

On the first floor, there is a king-size bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a bath, washbasin and toilet, and a further small shower room with a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet.

The second floor is the kid's domain!

The second floor has been designed with your kids in mind! The spacious bedroom features three single beds with space to play and plenty of privacy for midnight feasts!

Garden Glory

Sand Dollar’s private, enclosed garden is just delightful. A real country garden with plenty of lawn space and bushes for playing tag or hide and seek, and where your pets can enjoy a sunny spot for an afternoon snooze. An additional open summer house with lockable storage provides shelter and security.

There is a patio and dining area, and a charcoal BBQ for summer dining under the stars!

The garden is so beautiful and relaxing, you might find you don’t want to leave it and head out to the beach!

  • Sand Dollar is pet-friendly, welcoming two well-behaved pets.
  • Accessed down a private drive, there is more than ample parking. The large driveway can accommodate up to three cars, so that you can park up, close the gate and relax, your holiday has started!
  • This property provides one travel cot and one high-chair - We don't provide a travel cot mattress and cot linen.
  • On arrival you will receive a complimentary welcome pack with a few essentials to get your holiday started the right way.

All about Rhosneigr

Winner of the Green Coast seaside award, Rhosneigr is a lovely village situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey. It’s a fantastic location no matter the weather or season.

The village has two brilliant golden sand beaches, which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing. In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain.

Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!

Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Llyn Peninsula.

Rhosneigr village itself has a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, it even has a chip shop if you fancy fish and chips on a Friday.

And so that you don’t have to eat out every day during your holiday, the local general stores provide everything you need to cook and dine at home.

Rhosneigr also has a surf shop (also offering lessons) and other shops that you would expect to find on the coast.

Fancy a round of golf? Anglesey Golf Club is just five minutes drive from Rhosneigr village!

Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 40 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).

Anglesey is a great destination for any holiday with so much to offer: beautiful landscapes, gorgeous coastal walks, water sports and family activities galore, as well as cultural and monumental attractions for those looking to learn more about the history of the region.
